5 Reasons You Should Just Go For It

There going to be times in your life when you have to decide to just go for it.  Opportunities are going to present themselves.

Will you be ready?

Probably not.  But, you should go for it anyway.

Here are 5 reasons why you should.

1.  There is never a perfect time to just go for it.  If you are human then, by default, your mind is going to feed you with so many reasons to not go for it.  But, don't be upset with your own mind.  It is fearful.  It is trying to protect you.  You need to find a way through these thoughts.  Conditions will never be perfect.  See Done is Better Than Perfect.

The amazing thing, and what you should keep in mind, is that this feeling fades very quickly once you begin.

2.  Just do it!  That fastest way to learn anything is to just start doing it.  Do you want to write a book?  Start your own company? Start a new diet and fitness plan?

Whatever the challenge is, just start doing it.  You will learn.  You will grow.  And, nothing can be more important to your success than learning and growing.

3.  You have to stretch yourself to grow yourself.  You cannot get better if you are not challenged to do more, to stretch your abilities beyond what you think they are.  Believe me, they are much further along than you probably think they are.

4.  Big risk equals big reward.  You will only get the big bucks by taking on the big challenges that others won't. The challenges that others shy away from.

You always walk away a winner.  Even if you don't succeed.  You win by what you learned and you win by having the satisfaction of standing in the minority of people that at least tried.  These can never be taken away from you.

5.  If you don't go for it, you will forever wonder what if.  The #1 regret of the dying is that they didn't go for it.  Don't let your dreams die with you.  Have the courage to at least try.  Even if it does not work out, you will at least not die with regret of what if.

Write the book, run the marathon, apply for that job.  Whatever it is.  Just go for it!

It is far better to live with a failed attempt than the regret of not trying at all.
